How is the House of Compassion funded?
As a non-profit corporation designated by the IRS as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3), we rely on the generosity and kindness of others. We welcome your financial support and generosity as we serve young mothers and their children by promoting a culture that values life.
Women are expected to participate in grace before meals, Bible studies and to attend church.

How long can I stay after my baby is born?
During your time at Honey Rock House of Compassion, we work with you on developing a plan for after the birth of the baby.
Our goal is for the mother to complete the program upon the birth of the baby.
Depending on each mother's situation, she and her baby may return to the House of Compassion after giving birth. The time period that each will be able to stay is determined by the Executive Director.

Unfortunately, the House of Compassion is not equipped to house families at this time.

How do I apply to stay at the House of Compassion?
Each woman is asked to complete an application form, participate in an interview and agree to the policies before being considered for admittance.

What can House of Compassion do to help homeless women?
1. Life can be a series of traumatic events when you are living on the streets and expecting a child. Above all, many women are fleeing from abusive partners, and navigating through an unplanned pregnancy.
2. Few homeless women have support from family or friends. This is where the House of Compassion can come in to help.
